Still Walking

Still Walking is a collection of twenty six moments where Naela Ali chose to stay.

These paintings are not just landscapes. They are emotional topographies. Some were painted when her heart felt light, like the effortless glide of a Japanese Bobtail through a sunlit doorway. Others were painted when her feet felt like lead. They were painted when the grief of a loss or the exhaustion of feeling made the path ahead look impossible. 

We do not always know where the path leads. We do not always have the map. But we are breathing. We are noticing. We are feeling everything.

And for today, still walking is enough.
